Our vision

Structural barriers shall be diminished to strenghten human rights and equality.

Mission 2023 – 2024

1. Creating a dynamic platform for people living abroad to share their visions rooted in democratic principles.
2. Empowering overseas election rights and supporting constitution which promotes rights for those living abroad.
3. Advocating for the right to bail

1. สร้างแพลตฟอร์มสำหรับบุคคล ที่อาศัยต่างประเทศ เพื่อแบ่งปันวิสัยทัศน์ ที่มีพื้นฐานบนหลักประชาธิปไตย
2. เสริมสร้างสิทธิ์ในการเลือกตั้งนอกประเทศ และสนับสนุนรัฐธรรมนูญที่ส่งเสริมสิทธิ์ แก่ผู้อาศัยอยู่ต่างประเทศ

At Thalay Association, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community that transcends geographical boundaries. Our core activities revolve around:

This platform serves as a virtual community hub, fostering connections and dialogue among our diverse members.

2. Empowering visions and ideas

Empowering Visions and Ideas: We believe in the power of individual visions and ideas to drive positive change. Our association is committed to empowering individuals, especially the new generation, by providing the tools, resources, and support needed to transform their visions into impactful initiatives. Through mentorship, collaboration, and knowledge exchange, we strive to cultivate a community that nurtures and amplifies innovative ideas.

By creating a collaborative space and empowering the visions and ideas of our members, we aim to contribute to the enrichment of both global and Thai societies. Join us in building a community that transcends borders and empowers individuals to make a meaningful impact on the world.

ที่ Thalay Association เรามุ่งมั่นที่จะสร้างชุมชนที่มีชีวิตชีวาและครอบคลุมกิจกรรมที่ก้าวข้ามขีดจำกัดทางภูมิศาสตร์ โดยเรามุ่งเน้นไปที่:

1. สร้างแพลตฟอร์มและชุมชน

สมาคมจะทำการสร้างแพลตฟอร์มและพื้นที่ให้ผู้คนไม่ว่าจะมีภูมิหลังอะไรหรืออยู่สถานที่ใด ก็สามารถมาพบกันเพื่อแบ่งปัน ร่วมมือ และแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นได้

แพลตฟอร์มนี้ยังทำหน้าที่เป็นศูนย์กลางชุมชนเสมือนจริง ส่งเสริมการเชื่อมต่อและการสื่อสารระหว่างสมาชิกที่มีความหลากหลายของเรา

2. เสริมพลังให้กับวิสัยทัศน์และแนวคิด

เราเชื่อในพลังของวิสัยทัศน์ในการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลง สมาคมมุ่งมั่นที่จะเสริมพลังให้กับบุคคล โดยเฉพาะคนรุ่นใหม่ ที่อยู่นอกประเทศ เราจัดหาเครื่องมือ ทรัพยากร และการสนับสนุนที่จำเป็นในการเปลี่ยนวิสัยทัศน์ของพวกเขาให้กลายเป็นโครงการที่มีผลในการขับเคลื่อนสังคม

Thalay (ทะเล) means “sea” in Thai.

Thalay Association is a non-profit international organization dedicated to fostering and empowering the diaspora, with a particular focus on those residing in Europe. Thalay serves as an independent, self-sustaining platform with a forward-thinking vision aimed at generating ideas and taking action on a multitude of social and global issues.

Our inaugural general meeting and board election took place on June 17, 2021, officially establishing Thalay Association (สมาคมทะเล).

The founding articles of the Thalay Association were initially drafted and submitted to the City of Kassel on September 8, 2021, by our association’s founders. We carefully revised these articles multiple times to align with the guidelines for non-profit organizations in Germany. Subsequently, our association achieved official registration at the district court of Kassel, Germany, on December 19, 2022.

สมาคมทะเลเป็นองค์กรระหว่างประเทศที่ไม่แสวงหาผลกำไรที่อุทิศตนเพื่อส่งเสริมและเพิ่มศักยภาพให้กับผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่นอกประเทศของตัวออก ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีถิ่นพำนักในยุโรป สมาคมทำหน้าที่เป็นแพลตฟอร์มอิสระที่สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ โดยมีวิสัยทัศน์ที่ก้าวหน้าซึ่งมุ่งสร้างแนวคิดและดำเนินการกับประเด็นทางสังคมและมิติหลากหลายของโลก

การประชุมใหญ่สามัญและการเลือกตั้งคณะกรรมการครั้งแรกของเราเกิดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 17 มิถุนายน พ.ศ. 2564 และได้ก่อตั้งสมาคมทะเล (Thalay e.V.) อย่างเป็นทางการ

เอกสารและธรรมนูญเพื่อก่อตั้งสมาคมทะเลได้รับการร่าง และส่งไปยังเมืองคาสเซิลเมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2564 โดยผู้ก่อตั้งสมาคม เราแก้ไขบทความเหล่านี้อีกหลายครั้งเพื่อแนวทางการก่อตั้งสมาคมสอดคล้องกับหลักเกณฑ์สำหรับองค์กรที่ไม่แสวงหากำไรในเยอรมนี ต่อมาสมาคมของเราได้รับการจดทะเบียนอย่างเป็นทางการที่ศาลแขวงคาสเซิล ประเทศเยอรมนี เมื่อวันที่ 19 ธันวาคม 2022

Thalay Association is officially registered in Germany as a registered association (eingetragener Verein, e.V.). The association was founded and its registration submitted to the district court of Kassel, Germany on September 8, 2021. The registration process was completed on December 19, 2022.

สมาคมทะเล (Thalay Association) ได้จดทะเบียนอย่างถูกต้องในประเทศเยอรมนี ในฐานะสมาคมที่จดทะเบียน (eingetragener Verein, e.V.) สมาคมก่อตั้งขึ้นและยื่นจดทะเบียนต่อศาลแขวงคาสเซล ประเทศเยอรมนี เมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2564 กระบวนการจดทะเบียนเสร็จสมบูรณ์เมื่อวันที่ 19 ธันวาคม 2565

Thalay Association was established by a dedicated group of Thai scholars, professionals, and entrepreneurs based in Europe. Our first mission is to create a global platform for citizen-driven initiatives, free from government influence, with the intention of sharing experiences and knowledge from abroad with people around the world.

The association continually evolves by continuously welcoming new members, transforming our supporters and members into a diverse community. This community now includes individuals, working groups, and organizations from all corners of the globe. Our network includes people with diverse backgrounds, including housewives, students, professionals in various fields such as restaurants, massage, social work, economics, architecture, education, art, natural sciences, urban planning, law, public policy, politics, history, IT, engineering, and the creative arts.

สมาคมทะเลก่อตั้งขึ้นโดยกลุ่มนักวิชาการ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และผู้ประกอบการชาวไทยที่มีถิ่นพำนักอยู่ในทวีปยุโรป ภารกิจแรกของเราคือการสร้างพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนที่เกิดจากภาคประชาชน (citizen initiative) ในระดับสากล ที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยพลเมือง โดยปราศจากอิทธิพลของรัฐบาล โดยมีจุดประสงค์ในการแบ่งปันประสบการณ์และความรู้จากต่างประเทศกับผู้คนทั่วโลก

สมาคมมีการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเปิดรับผู้ร่วมงานเข้ามาอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนทำให้สมาชิกและผู้สนับสนุนของเราเป็นชุมชนที่หลากหลาย ซึ่งปัจจุบันประกอบด้วยทั้ง ปัจเจกบุคคล กลุ่มทำงาน และองค์กรจากทั่วทุกมุมโลก เครือข่ายของเรายังประกอบไปด้วยบุคคลที่มีภูมิหลังหลากหลาย ทั้งแม่บ้าน นักศึกษา ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสาขาต่างๆ เช่น ร้านอาหาร การนวด งานสังคมสงเคราะห์ เศรษฐศาสตร์ สถาปัตยกรรม การศึกษา ศิลปะ วิทยาศาสตร์ธรรมชาติ การวางผังเมือง กฎหมาย นโยบายสาธารณะ การเมือง ประวัติศาสตร์ ไอที วิศวกรรมศาสตร์ และศิลปะเชิงสร้างสรรค์

Most of the participants and audiences are Thai people living aboard and in Thailand who like to reduce the geographical barriers to provide invaluable feedback as global citizens, enriching lives across diverse nations. We created an interactive hub for individuals living beyond borders, united by shared passion.

Our attention is centered on three primary target groups within our audience:

1. New-Generation: We are dedicated to empowering the new generation of movement, fostering their engagement and providing them with the tools, spaces, ideas, and support to work, share, exchange, analyze, critique, and transfer knowledge on both global and Thai-related issues.
2. Thai-Speaking Individuals in Europe and Thailand: We extend our outreach to Thai-speaking individuals residing in Europe and Thailand, creating a welcoming environment for collaboration, dialogue, and the exploration of diverse topics that impact both the global and Thai communities.
3. Thai Academics and Non-Academics: Our organization serves as a valuable resource for Thai academics and non-academics based in Europe, offering a platform for knowledge sharing, discussion, analysis, and the critical examination of matters that are of relevance to both global and Thai contexts

We provide tools, spaces, ideas, and support for individuals to work, share, exchange, analyze, critique, and transfer knowledge on both global and Thai-related issues.”
