แถลงการณ์สมาคมทะเล (thalay.eu)

สนับสนุนการจัดทำรัฐธรรมนูญฉบับใหม่โดยประชาชน

ตามที่ประเทศไทยกำลังอยู่ในห้วงเวลาสำคัญของการตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับทิศทางโครงสร้างหลักของประเทศ นั่นคือ “รัฐธรรมนูญ” ซึ่งเป็นกฎหมายสูงสุดในการปกครองและรับรองสิทธิเสรีภาพของประชาชน

สมาคมทะเล (thalay.eu) เครือข่ายและสภากาแฟของคนไทยในยุโรปและหลากหลายที่ในโลก ในฐานะกลุ่มที่รวมตัวกันของบุคคลธรรมดาที่มีหลากหลายความสนใจ หลากหลายแขนงอาชีพ นักเรียน นักศึกษา คนทำงาน คนหางาน บุคคลคนทั่วไป และผู้ที่สนใจในความเป็นไปของประเทศไทย ได้ติดตามสถานการณ์ดังกล่าวด้วยความห่วงใยและใส่ใจต่ออนาคตของสังคมไทย จากการหารือร่วมกันภายในสมาคม สมาชิกมีความเห็นพ้องต้องกันและขอประกาศว่า

เราสนับสนุนให้มีการจัดทำรัฐธรรมนูญฉบับใหม่ ที่ยึดโยงกับเจตจำนงของประชาชน

เราเชื่อมั่นว่า การมีกติกาที่เขียนขึ้นใหม่โดยตัวแทนที่มาจากประชาชนอย่างแท้จริง คือจุดเริ่มต้นสำคัญในการปลดล็อกปัญหาความขัดแย้งทางการเมือง นำไปสู่การจัดสรรทรัพยากรที่เป็นธรรม และสร้างระบบที่เอื้อต่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพของคนไทย ไม่ว่าจะอยู่ที่ใดในโลก

ในช่วงโค้งสุดท้ายก่อนการตัดสินใจครั้งสำคัญนี้ ทางสมาคม ขอเชิญชวนพี่น้องประชาชนชาวไทย รวมถึงผู้ที่ยังลังเล ให้ร่วมกันส่งเสียงและแสดงเจตจำนงของท่าน เพื่อยืนยันว่าอำนาจในการกำหนดอนาคตของประเทศ เป็นของประชาชนทุกคน

Statement from Thalay Association (thalay.eu)

Supporting the Drafting of a New Constitution by the People

As Thailand stands at a crucial juncture in deciding the direction of the country’s main structure > the “Constitution,” which is the supreme law governing the nation and guaranteeing the rights and liberties of its people;

Association Thalay (thalay.eu), a network and community forum for Thais in Europe and various parts of the world—comprising ordinary people with diverse interests and professions, students, workers, job seekers, general individuals, and those concerned with Thailand’s affairs—has monitored this situation with care and concern for the future of Thai society. Through mutual discussion within the association, members have reached a consensus to declare the following standpoint:

We support the drafting of a new constitution that is linked to the will of the people.

We believe that rules rewritten by true representatives of the people are the essential starting point for unlocking political conflict, leading to fair resource allocation, and creating a system that facilitates the development of Thai people’s potential, wherever they may be in the world.

In this final stretch before this critical decision, the Association invites Thai citizens, including those who are still undecided, to join together in raising their voices and expressing their will, to confirm that the power to determine the country’s future belongs to all people.
